We spent a year at the summer cottage on Silver Lake, which was the family’s second home and a place she spent most of her summers growing up. There she met her first love Sean and all of a sudden she was in that space between childhood and becoming a woman, a turbulent time for her. That following fall of 1990 we moved to Getzville a place that was closer to family. Again like years before there were weekends and time out in the country with her dad. This was probably the first time she can remember living in the city. There again we found that our neighbors became our best friends. Pam and her new friend Taylor were pretty much inseparable right up until the time they had their children, and both families continue to be there for each other even today. We had many additions to our family in those years including Art, Wirja, Marilee, and Cliff. Her teenage years were filled with joy and pain like all teenagers but signs of ill health began become apparent.
